Abba’s House – A Spirit-filled Christian church in Hixson, TN where my wife and I are members.

Rock Bridge Community Church – An evangelical Christian church started at the site of the historic Wink Theater in downtown Dalton, GA, with satellite campuses in Calhoun and Chatsworth, GA.

Local Businesses

McKay Used Books, CDs, Movies & More – A store that specializes in buying and selling used books, movies, music, and video games with locations in Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga, TN.

Fantasy Factory – A store in downtown Dalton, GA that specializes in comic books, board games, card games, and collecting supplies for each of them.

iDJ Professionals – A professional DJ based in Northwest Georgia that can help you bring any party or special event to life without breaking the bank.

Grafe Studios – A floral studio at the foot of Lookout Mountain in St. Elmo that is very professional, courteous, and knowledgable in all types of flowers and floral arrangements, importing their flowers from all over the world and providing them to their clients at affordable prices.


Tennessee Aquarium – One of the top rated aquariums in America, located in downtown Chattanooga on the riverfront, the Tennessee Aquarium features fresh water and salt water exhibits as well as offering a boat tour of the Tennessee River Gorge.

Rock City – Anyone that has driven just a little bit off of the beaten path in the southeast and mid-west has seen the barn advertisements for this attraction, located in Lookout Mountain, GA near Chattanooga, TN, where you can enjoy the scenic rock gardens and panoramic view from Lover’s Leap, while the kids can enjoy Fairyland, a fairy tale themed area.

Ruby Falls – Take an elevator ride deep into Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, TN to discover the caves inside the mountain and the water fall within.

Lookout Mountain Incline Railway – Take a ride from the base of Lookout Mountain in St. Elmo to the top of Lookout Mountain at Point Park.

Chattanooga Zoo – Although one of the smallest zoos accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Chattanooga Zoo boasts the largest indoor red panda exhibit in the world, along with exhibits featuring chimpanzees, jaguars, white-tailed deer, and several other North American and Latin American species.

Lake Winnepesaukah – An affordable amusement park in Rossville, GA with rides the whole family can enjoy, opening the Chattanooga area’s first waterpark in Summer 2013.


The Acropolis Grill – Serving Chattanooga authentic Greek cuisine since 1982, The Acropolis Grill is conveniently located near Hamilton Place Mall.

Los Reyes – Serving Northwest Georgia authentic Mexican cuisine since 1981 with locations in Ringgold and Dalton, GA.

Heavenly Wings – Serving several varieties of flavored chicken wings on Brainerd Road (dine-in or drive-thru; online gaming center), Highway 58 (drive-thru only), and E. 3rd Street near Warner Park(drive-thru only.)

Oakwood Cafe – Serving southern cuisine in Dalton and Forest Park, GA with a third location coming soon to Cartersville.

City Cafe Diner – Serving a wide variety of cuisine 24/7 from two Chattanooga locations, at the Best Western on the corner of Lee Highway and Bonnie Oaks Drive and the Days Inn on the corner of Carter Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard in downtown Chattanooga.

Proni’s Pizza & Subs – Serving gourmet pizza and other Italian fare and a wide range of hot and cold sub sandwiches (dine-in, carry-out, drive-thru or delivery), as well as boardwalk style fare featuring Nathan’s Hotdogs and soft serve ice cream (dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru only) located on Brainerd Road with delivery service covering the Brainerd area.


Dalton State College – My alma mater, a college in the University of Georgia System in Dalton, GA that offers undergraduate degrees in Business, Nursing, Social Work and several areas with the option of teaching certification.

Chattanooga Public Library – Serving the citizens of Chattanooga with the main downtown branch as well as branches at Eastgate, Northgate, and South Chattanooga.

Bible Questions Answered – Answers many questions that people have about the Bible regarding anything from the meaning of scripture to the authenticity of the message the Bible has for mankind.

God=Love – The blog of a fellow Christian writer, Erin lamb, author of the book I Thought I Knew What Love Was: The Journey to Intimacy with God.


Wikipedia – The ultimate collaboratively edited, free, multilingual, online encyclopedia, containing over 23 million articles, written and edited by over 100,000 contributors from around the world.

Google – The most popular search engine in the world has become more than just a search engine, with its forays into the open source world with their own web browser and mobile operating system, the purchase of YouTube, and jumping into the social media arena with Google+.

GasBuddy – Report and share gas prices all over the US and Canada to earn tickets for a weekly $250 gas card drawing.


Wizards of the Coast – The company that invented an entirely new genre of games in 1993 with the release of Magic: The Gathering and over the course of the next decade thereafter built a corporate empire including not only the biggest collectible card game ever, but also, through the buyout of TSR, the biggest role-playing game ever, Dungeons & Dragons.

Internet Radio

Radio Margaritaville – First going on-air on the Internet in 1998, the first Internet radio station to transition to mainstream radio, it is the home station of Jimmy Buffet, playing all of his concerts live and the music of various Gulf & Western and Caribbean artists 24/7.

Pandora Internet Radio – A make-it-yourself internet radio network, just supply your favorite artist, genre, or song, and you’ll get an automatically generated playlist based on comparative algorithms and your previous preferences that is available on any PC, as well as apps available for iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile.

TuneIn – Listen to a wide range of live feeds from terrestrial radio stations from all around the world via PC and apps for iOS and Android powered devices.

Tunnel Hill’s Front Porch – A Christian devotional blog by an author that knows how to apply scriptures to life situations in a manner anyone can understand.


Amazon Mechanical Turk – A crowdsourcing internet marketplace where requesters can easily match up tasks that require human intelligence with humans ready to complete the tasks, ranging from tasks as simple as short surveys to tasks as complex as transcribing audio files.
