The holidays fill many people with joy. However, many people also experience great sadness during the holidays. Many of us experience depression from missing departed loved ones. When we are dealing with holiday loneliness, sometimes it feels like we will never be happy again.
As I heard about yet another celebrity death this past week, I started thinking about how different people have different views of other peoples’ legacies. While some people only remember the bad things someone did, other people only see the good. We all should have a mind toward legacy building. Our legacies are the only things left behind of ourselves after we are gone.
There are experiences that we all share as humans. Some of these are joyous, like marriage or the birth of a child. However there are also sorrowful life events that we all most go through. The one that causes the greatest amount of grieving in all of our lives is the death of a loved one.
