Human Connection: The Importance of Relationships

At some point in all of our lives, we all struggle with loneliness. I’ve had those times where I didn’t really feel that human connection to anyone. I’ve also had times in my life where I’ve had what I considered many close friends. We need to have that kind of connection to others to have balance in our lives.

Accept Change: Good, Bad, or What Just Is

Life is full of changes. We face many different kinds of changes in our lives everyday. Sometimes these changes are good, and sometimes they’re bad. Some changes really hold no consequence to our lives. Possibly the thing in our lives that defines our character the most is in how we accept change. To we let changes in our lives dictate our path, or do we face them head on and declare victory over them.

Grieving the Loss of a Loved One

There are experiences that we all share as humans. Some of these are joyous, like marriage or the birth of a child. However there are also sorrowful life events that we all most go through. The one that causes the greatest amount of grieving in all of our lives is the death of a loved one.
